Darin Hayes
is a Financial Consultant with D.A. Davidson & Co. in Coeur
d'Alene. For the past four years he has led a financial
literacy coalition for Kootenai County and organized an
annual financial literacy week.
He is also the chair of the
Coeur d'Alene Chamber Public Policy committee and serves on
their Board of Directors. In 2007 he helped draft House
Concurrent Resolution 10 calling for the State to explore
and review ways to integrate the basics of personal finance
into the Idaho Public School Curriculum. The resolution was
sponsored by North Idaho Legislators and passed unanimously.
Mr. Hayes frequently speaks in
public schools in Kootenai County and contributes financial
news and commentary on KXLY 4 Good Morning Northwest.
He was elected a member of the Board in 2008
and represents the Northern Idaho Regional Committee. |
