Training Sessions for
Idaho Teachers

2010

For  information on the November 5-7, 2010 National Educators Conference in Washington DC, sponsored by the national Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy, please see www.nhjumpstart.org/NationalEducatorConference.htm.

For details on applying for one of the two $100 stipends available to Idaho teachers attending the November 2010 Washington DC conference, go to www.idahoflc.org/2010_conference_teacher_stipend.htm.

The Coalition is also working with the Idaho Digital Learning Academy to create a continuing education course on the topic of personal finance specifically designed for Idaho math teachers. This series of webinars should be available through the IDLA beginning fall 2010.

2009

In 2009, the Idaho Financial Literacy Coalition offered free personal finance training sessions for Idaho math teachers. These sessions, with a free lunch included, provided our high school math teachers with the vocabulary and principles of personal finance that will allow them to teach the new Mathematics of Personal Finance class, (new for fall of 2009), with confidence and comfort.

Our facilitators have graciously made their materials available for download. If you have been unable to attend one of our training sessions, or if you would like a refresher, here are the links:
